Tetra Pak^® Ingredient Doser M3

The Tetra Pak^® Ingredient Doser M3 adds extra ingredients continuously and accurately to ice cream and other liquid or viscous products. Typical inclusions for the ingredient doser M3 are fruit pieces, nuts and candies, and the 3000 model also handles cookie dough and whole biscuits.

Interchangeable augers feed the ingredients to the pump at a steady rate, matched to the product, the particle size and the required capacity. The lamella pump then transfers the inclusions into the pressurized product zone without breaking them and without incorporating air. All of this sits on a standardized stainless steel frame on wheels, which is the same for both models.

• Applications: Dosing of fruit pieces, nuts, candies and, with the 3000 model, cookie dough and whole biscuits into ice cream and other liquid or viscous products.

• Capacity: Model 2000 with 10–200 l/h of ingredients into 100–2,000 l/h of product (ingredients up to 12 mm); model 3000 with 40–700 l/h of ingredients into 500–3,500 l/h of product (ingredients up to 20 mm).

• Options: Ventilated lamellas, magnetic grid, insulated hopper, automatic CIP front cover and a dual hopper for the 3000 model that doses two ingredients in set ratios.

Upgrade instead of replace: Moving from the 2000 to the 3000 model only requires a new hopper, mixer and pump. The hopper lid opens backwards so the doser can be refilled at a low height from the sides and front, and two dosers can stand side by side.
