Tetra Pak® Big Bag Discharger
The Tetra Pak® Big Bag Discharger is a big bag discharger built to empty bulk bags of free-flowing powdered or granulated ingredients efficiently. Compact and modular, it handles bags of up to 2,000 kg and can feed every type of downstream process line.

Hygienic EHEDG design with a fully demountable connection system
The big bag is hung on the lifting bar and lowered onto the receiving table, where its spout is fixed to the connection head with a dust-tight pinching system that is simple to operate. The height of the connecting head adjusts to different spout lengths and moves down to stretch the spout for a better powder flow, while a vibrating stainless steel table helps to empty the bag without operator intervention. Because the clamping keeps the dust inside, the unit works without a separate dust collector. A patented cage surrounds the discharge head in place of a conventional grid and stops the unit automatically as soon as it is opened.
Applications: Discharging big bags of free-flowing powdered or granulated ingredients for prepared food, instant drinks, dairy, nutrition, biscuits and culinary products.
Capacity: Big bags with a weight of up to 2,000 kg.
Options: Massage system with independent cylinders that loosen difficult products at the bottom of the bag, closing system to remove a bag before it is empty, level sensors and load cells, patented safety cage, ATEX or UL-certified hoist and a stainless steel or painted carbon steel frame.

Built for hygiene: Designed in accordance with EHEDG guidelines, the discharger keeps every powder-contact surface accessible. The connection system can be dismantled completely for cleaning, the frame is corrosion-resistant and the external parts can be washed down with water.
