Tetra Pak^® Ingredient Doser 4000 A2

The Tetra Pak^® Ingredient Doser 4000 A2 adds extra ingredients continuously and accurately to ice cream and other liquid or viscous products. Designed for high capacities, the ingredient doser 4000 A2 handles fruit pieces, nuts and candy as well as large inclusions such as cookie dough and whole biscuits.

A patented hopper design and a choice of augers feed the ingredients evenly, while the loss-in-weight control system keeps the dosing rate accurate, typically with a standard deviation below 3% depending on inclusion size and type. The lamella pump moves the inclusions into the pressurized product zone without incorporating air, and a CIP front cover supports thorough cleaning. The hopper lid flips up for refilling from two sides, and the operator panel sits on a swivel base so it can be turned towards the operator.

• Applications: Dosing of fruit pieces, nuts, candy and large inclusions such as cookie dough and whole biscuits into ice cream and other liquid or viscous products.

• Capacity: 100–1,200 l/h of ingredients into a product flow of up to 10,000 l/h.

• Options: Ventilated lamellas, magnetic grill, insulated hopper and line integration.

Big capacity, small footprint: Despite its high throughput, the doser needs only 0.9 m² of floor space, so it is easy to place even in tight spaces.
