Tetra Pak^® Food Processor – industrial food processor for batch production

The Tetra Pak^® Food Processor is not a kitchen appliance but an industrial food processor for batch production. In one robust, closed vessel it gives you full control over heating, frying, blending and cooling. It processes low to high viscosity products, smooth or with particles of up to 25 mm, and its blending technology distributes the temperature evenly while treating delicate ingredients such as fruit pieces and rice grains gently.

The agitator reaches every area of the vessel, blending thoroughly but gently so particles keep their size and nothing burns on, and a spacious frying surface makes room for fried ingredients. The smart “auto chef” automation, based on Tetra Pak^® PlantMaster, controls time, temperature, viscosity and other key parameters, stores up to 800 recipes and keeps every batch traceable. The closed vessel keeps aromas in the product – a clear step up for producers moving on from open kettles or changing products more often. Cleaning runs fully in place with a flush barrier and injectable CIP nozzles for the agitator, connected to a local or central CIP system, and the unit is controlled stand-alone via a local HMI or as part of a line with Allen Bradley or Siemens PLCs.

• Applications: Ready meals, soups and broths, foods with or without particles, fruit preparations, jams and marmalades, traditional and international dishes, curry sauces and pastes, rice pudding, desserts and confectionery.

• Capacity: Vessel sizes of 250 to 6,000 l (V series) and 500 to 3,000 l (H series).

• Models: V series with patent-pending agitator and scrapers; H series with a horizontal helix agitator.
